KomaLingo processes only the comic images or visible screenshot region that you explicitly request to translate. Chapter mode sends up to 60 ordered images. Scroll mode continuously sends batches of up to five images near your reading position until you stop it or change chapter. We also process your Google account email/identifier, opaque session tokens, quota, subscription and limited operational events.
Requested images are sent over HTTPS to our service. Google Cloud Vision processes them for OCR. Google Gemini processes the ordered OCR transcript, region identifiers, region types and space limits for either the full chapter or the current five-image scroll batch; interaction storage is disabled. Context is not retained between scroll batches. Azure Translator and Google Cloud Translation may process recognized text as fallbacks. Lemon Squeezy fulfills subscriptions.
Source and result images, OCR transcript, temporary glossary and layout geometry expire within 24 hours. Identifying job metadata is anonymized after 30 days. We do not sell personal data, collect browsing history, use data for advertising or permit unrelated human review. You may stop scroll translation at any time or delete your account in the extension; sessions and temporary files are removed, while records required for billing/accounting may be retained.
